Our Story

Made Up North, for Up North

Northern Michigan Livin' was created by local Northern Michiganders who love the great outdoors and everything this place has to offer: sunrise on a quiet inland lake, sunset over Lake Michigan, the first snowfall on the pines, and small towns where people still wave as you drive by.

We believe Northern Michigan is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We started Northern Michigan Livin' to help more people discover it, whether that's finding the perfect town to call home, a cabin for the weekends, or a new favorite trail, beach, or breakfast spot.
